Dubai School Inspection Bureau

The Dubai School Inspection Bureau (DSIB) of KHDA was established by Decision 38 of The Executive Council of the Government of Dubai in 2007. DSIB provides comprehensive information on the standard of private school education in Dubai, helping to inform improvement planning at both school and policy levels. This is achieved through various approaches, including annual school inspections, parents' meetings and focus groups, and surveys of teachers, parents, and pupils.

Through inspections and the participation of schools in international assessments, DSIB provides KHDA, the Government of Dubai, and the wider public with an accurate and detailed view of the quality of school education in Dubai, compared to the best-performing countries in the world.

British Schools Overseas

The British Schools Overseas (BSO) inspection is a rigorous assessment process available to schools that are members of the Council of British International Schools (COBIS). Designed to ensure that British international schools adhere to the highest educational standards, the BSO inspection provides a framework that mirrors the exacting criteria used by Ofsted, the Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills in the UK. This alignment ensures that the quality of education delivered at British international schools overseas is consistent with the standards expected in England.

The BSO inspection process serves as a hallmark of quality and excellence for British curriculum schools around the globe. By undertaking this inspection every three years, schools demonstrate their commitment to maintaining and enhancing educational standards. This not only assures parents of the quality of education their children are receiving but also enhances the school's reputation as a credible institution of learning.
