Mrs Perry is a graduate of the University of York who embarked on her teaching journey with the educational charity Teach First which sparked her passion for inclusion. This enthusiasm for diversity led her to the role of SENCO and Inclusion Champion, successfully completing the NASENCO Award and becoming a Level 3 Designated Safeguarding Lead. She is a qualified art therapist who strongly believes that prioritising student and staff wellbeing is the key to success. Mrs Perry believes in collaboration between therapeutic providers, support services and parents and caregivers to enhance each child’s provision and access to education. She has worked in several prestigious UAE schools, leading on Inclusion and championing Students of Determination. She believes in quality first teaching and creating an enabling environment for all students to thrive.
