House System

Tradition, Competition, and Camaraderie

At Repton Al Barsha, we proudly uphold the traditional British House system, deeply rooted in the heritage of Repton UK. Our school features six Houses, each named after former Headmasters of Repton UK: Jackson, Thomas, Brewster, Theobald, Davies, and Merriman. Upon joining our school, every pupil is assigned to a House, with siblings placed in the same House to strengthen family unity and support.

Each House is led by a dedicated Head of House, providing guidance, mentorship, and support, while striving to lead their House to success in various competitions and overall achievements. Pupils have the chance to develop leadership skills by serving as House Captains, representing their House in a variety of school-wide activities and fostering teamwork among their peers.

Throughout the academic year, pupils participate in friendly House competitions across sports, arts, music, drama, academic quizzes, and debates, all of which promote healthy competition and excellence. Pupils can earn points for their House by demonstrating our core values of responsibility, academic excellence, and kindness.

House points are tallied regularly, and the House with the highest points is celebrated and recognised. The prestigious House Cup is awarded annually to the House with the strongest overall performance, serving as a symbol of pride and accomplishment within our community.
