Celebrating Talent
At Repton Al Barsha, we proudly offer scholarships in Academic Excellence, Sport, Creative Arts, and Innovation for pupils entering Year 7, Year 10, and Year 12. These prestigious scholarships are designed to celebrate outstanding talent and are tenable for the duration of a pupil’s time at Repton Al Barsha, subject to maintaining high standards of behaviour, performance, and engagement.
Our academic scholars are expected to remain dedicated to their studies, demonstrating excellence in attainment. Music scholars should contribute to the vibrant creativity groups at the school, while sports scholars will be key players in representing our school teams. Innovation scholars will play an integral role in the Repton Family of Schools Digital Team, driving forward our commitment to digital excellence.
Academic Excellence
Awarded to pupils who demonstrate both exceptional ability and a deep commitment to becoming academic leaders at Repton Al Barsha. We seek pupils who are curious, inquisitive, and enjoy their studies. Internal candidates are nominated by their teachers for this scholarship based on academic achievement and do not need to apply.
Creative Arts
This scholarship is granted to pupils with outstanding artistic talent who are prepared to make a significant impact on the Creative Arts Department. Successful candidates are expected to contribute to the school’s vibrant performance events, demonstrating a passion for creativity and artistic expression.
Sport
Awarded to pupils with exceptional sporting prowess who exemplify the values of sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, and fair play. These pupils will act as ambassadors for Repton Al Barsha’s sports teams, representing the school with dedication and pride in a range of competitions.
Innovation
This scholarship recognises pupils who excel in critical thinking, problem-solving, and demonstrate entrepreneurial skills. Awardees will be leaders in innovation, committed to driving forward new ideas and making a lasting contribution to the Repton Family of Schools Digital Team.
How to Apply
To apply for a scholarship, parents are invited to showcase their child’s exceptional abilities in academics, creative arts, sports, or innovation. This can include achievements such as outstanding performances in concerts, sports competitions, or other accolades. External students should submit a letter of application, along with key evidence such as academic awards, GL Assessment and CAT4 scores, and recent school reports. Please note, all external applicants must complete an admissions application prior to submitting their scholarship request.
For current Repton Al Barsha pupils, the process is seamless—outstanding students will be nominated by our teaching staff, so there’s no need for parents to apply or request an academic scholarship. All eligible pupils will automatically be considered. As part of this selection process, shortlisted candidates may be invited for an interview or audition.
